Transgender (TG)

These are individuals whose gender expression and/or gender identity differs from conventional expectations based on their physical sex. The word transgender is an umbrella term often used to describe a wide range of identities and experiences inside the community comprised of crossdressers, transsexuals, gender flids, drag queens, drag kings, androgynes, etc. Because transgender is an umbrella term, it is imprecise and does not adequately describe the particulars of specific identities and experiences.
